Immigrating to Gaza

Immigrating to Gaza
The ongoing military activity in Gaza makes the country a place that is not feasible for any kind of visit at this moment. Because of this, it is more inconceivable for anyone to think of immigrating to the place.

Just recently, the Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has advised Canadian citizens, and everyone else in the world should also take this warning into mind, to leave the Gaza Strip area. They have advised against all travel to the Gaza Strip because the place is still currently affected by some very serious violence. It is said that the situation in the area could only get worse because of inter-factional violence. There are ongoing military activities in the area as well, which could add to deterioration of the situation.

While the entrance and exit points of the Gaza Strip is now under the control of Israeli authorities, any attempt to go out of Gaza would be extremely difficult, especially during border closure times. This is even if you have valid entry and exit permits in your possession. All travel to the regions that surrounds the Gaza Strip is also not advisable.

Since Canadian consular officials have limited abilities to intervene on behalf the Canadians who are still in Gaza or who wish to enter the country, it can be expected that much the same will be experienced by the other consular officials from other countries. Because of this, it is really much better to refrain from travelling to Gaza at this time and to immediately scoot from there, should you still be in the area.
