UK Border Agency Published Shareholder Statement
UK Border Agency Published Shareholder Statement
The new document is, essentially, an updated version of the previously published joint statement entitled "Our Relationship with External Stakeholders". The prior document, published in 2006, offered a look at the general framework in relation to the Border Agency nurturing prosperous relationships with their stockholders.
The join statement came about after a review in 2006 of the Immigration and Nationality Directorate, which is now the UK Border Agency, and highlighted areas that the agency needed to improve upon in order to effectively work with shareholders.
The newest revision is a more clear, concise look into expectations and behaviours expected by the agency and their stockholders. Published to the public the document is expected to outline the best approaches for the Agency/Shareholder relationship.
At the core of the document is the contrast between experience and action and what behaviours have and have not worked well in the past. The document also incorporates feedback directly from stakeholders in the attempt to provide a more comprehensive outlook for future improvements.
