Santa Barred From Yarl Wood Emigration Removal Center

Apparently, when an Anglican expert on St Nicholas tried to add a little cheer to Yarl Wood's child emigration removal center, security guards called in the police. What started as a well intentioned attempt to bring a little festive cheer to some of the most neglected children in all of the UK, all ended poorly.

One of the Anglican church's leading experts on Christmas, who was actually dressed as St Nicholas himself, arrived at Yarl Wood emigration removal center to distribute presents to the children being held there. It was after arriving at the center that things took a turn for the worst.

The security personnel who guards the perimeter of the removal center prevented the Santa dressed man from entering. This kept the Anglican expert on St Nicholas from being able to deliver almost £300 worth of presents donated by congregations of several London churches.

The man dressed as Santa, Rev Canon James Rosenthal, protested that he was not a security threat; however, this was to no avail. After this, Santa then attempted to bless the gifts, and the increasingly angry security guards then called the police. The little struggle between church and state was apparently videotaped by asylum seeker support groups.

This now adds even more concern to the treatment of the kids that are in the emigration removal centers. Just last week senior doctors said that the kids held in these removal centers are under a lot of mental stress and some are even threatening to kill themselves.

Rosenthal went on to say that St Nicholas has never been turned away from anywhere before. Thus, he was extremely disappointed that he was unable to deliver the presents to the kids.
