British Emigration Officials Under Fire for Escaped Rapist

Reports now show that the Pakistan high commission has accused British emigration officials of keeping a rapist inadequately guarded. Just recently the "double rapist," Imtiaz Hussain, was able to escape from the Pakistan high commission in London. The British Officials were accused of failing to warn staff that the man was dangerous.

Police have now been on the hunt for Imtiaz Hussain, age 44, ever since he was able to get away by climbing out a bathroom window at the London embassy and escape just last Friday. The convicted double rapists was brought under guard to the embassy to obtain a passport so that he could be deported after he served his nine year prison sentence.

Syeda Sultana Rizvi, of the Pakistan high commission, said that a formal complaint has already been made and sent to British authorities. She accused the emigration officials of failing to make an appointment and leaving the criminal inadequately guarded while at the embassy.

Rizvi said that the diplomatic staff were only able to learn of Mr Hussain's visit after getting the information from panicking private security guards. However, this did not happened until after the man went disappearing from the building. She went on to point out that this man was a rapist and is on the lose again. The fact that this man was dangerous was something that was known by the agency that was handling his custody, and they failed to hold on to him.

David Wood, a member of the UK Border Agency, said that police were immediately informed of the mishap. His details have already been given to police, and he has been added to a watch list.
