UK Fighting War on Sex Traffickers

It seems that the UK has been fighting to keep thousands of illegal emigrants out of the UK. The problem is that many of these illegal emigrants will do anything that they can to make it into the country. This includes paying up to £30,000 to be smuggled into the country. Although this seems pretty bad, reports now show that many women choose a far different road.

Many illegal emigrant women never dreamed of the fact that they would be forced into working in a brothel once they finally reach their dreamland in the UK. Over the years, dozens of these brothels have opened all over Essex. Most of them seem to feature emigrants from China and eastern Europe.

Over just the past 12 months, Essex police have actually raided 37 brothels. Despite this fact, it is estimated that there could still be 55 to 60 brothels that are still open for business in Essex. The efforts from police do not seem to be enough from stopping criminal gangs from opening another brothel in another location just as quickly as the police can close them.

Many of the women that come to the UK are being tricked into selling their bodies. These women are told that they will be given a different kind of job, and once they arrive, they have little choice but to do what they are told. Since they are in the country illegally, they cannot get a real job, and most of them end up in the forced labor industry or selling themselves. To make matters worse, most of these women had to pay lots of money to get to the UK, only to turn around and be used as prostitutes.
