Lady Scotland Gets Questioned By UK Emigration Officers Over Illegal Maid

The UK Border Agency is not afraid to ask anyone questions when it comes to the status of an illegal emigrant working within the UK borders. So much so, that the UK Border Agency has begun an inquiry into the British attorney general, who hired a housekeeper that did not hold a valid UK visa.

The UK government's legal adviser and prominent figure in the UK emigration reform, Lady Scotland, is being questioned for employing Loloahi Tapui Zivancevic from Tongo. This government official could be facing a £10,000 fine if it is found that she did not do the proper checks on the emigrant before hiring her.

The UK Border Agency did go on to announce that the investigation took place after receiving a complaint from an anti-sleaze campaign group. The group accused Lady Scotland of flouting legislations that she herself helped push through parliament. Gordon Brown and the British government back Scotland and said that she had employed the housekeeper in good faith.

One statement went on to say that Lady Scotland has never knowingly employed an illegal emigrant. It is claimed that Scotland hired Ms Tapui in good faith and saw documents which led her to think that Ms Tapui was entitled to work in the UK.

Lady Scotland hired the 27-year-old Tongan girl over the last six months to look after her family home in west London. Of course, Lady Scotland was forced to terminate the girl's employment after it was shown that the girl had overstayed her student UK visa. Thus, the girl was no longer legally allowed to work in the UK.
