Home Office Thinking of Challenging Court Ruling to Not Deport Gamu Nhengu
The UK Border Agency has already said that they were very disappointed with the ruling that was announced this past Wednesday. According to this ruling, the girl was said that she would not have to return to Zimbabwe, and that she could remain in the UK.
Right now the Home Office has at least five working days to respond to this latest judgment before there is nothing that they can do about it. If the UK Border Agency chooses to leave it alone, then she will be allowed to stay in the UK forever.
Some people have admitted that they are a little shocked that the UK Border Agency is going to put so much time and effort into deporting this little girl and her family. They point out that there are much bigger “fish” to fry out there, and the UK Border Agency should be focusing on them.
One source said that it is amazing the cases that the Border Agency chooses to give the most attention. Removing a little girl who was on X Factor is a bigger deal than trying to get some of the other illegal emigrants out of the country. It just does not add up unless the agency is trying to use this as an example to other migrants, but if they are, they chose the wrong person to do it with. After all, people in the UK are fighting for her.
