British Government Clarifies Tougher Student Visa Rules

The British government is still in the middle of doing whatever it can to keep as many immigrants out of the UK as they can. In order to do this, the first thing that the UK wants to crack down on is the number of fake students that get accepted into the UK.

Thus, the British government has came forward once again to talk about its stricter rules on student visas. This is all being done in a big bid to help reduce the number of immigrants coming to the UK. British workers are scared that the large amount of immigrants that are coming to the UK are hurting the job industry.

Theresa May, who is the British Home Secretary, says that her clamp down on bogus colleges will help keep immigrants that have no right to be in the UK out. Also, she plans on cracking down on students who cannot speak English well.

Overall, Theresa May, as well as other UK government officials, would really like to keep people out of the UK that cannot speak English well. They feel that this does nothing more than drive people apart. There is already a big gap between people who are born in the UK and people who move here. The last thing that people need is for this gap to grow even bigger due to a language barrier.

Rules go on to state that students who are studying at a private college are barred from working. On top of this, the students who wish to stay in the country after their studies can only do so if their employer agrees to pay them at least 20,000 pounds a year.
