Police Search for Extremely Violent Emigrant

Reports have now confirmed that police have started a search for a violent criminal who went on the run after being bailed by an emigration judge from Colbrooke emigration removal center near Heatrhow. The UK Border Agency had strongly opposed bail being given to Kawa ali Azad, age 34. His ex-partner claims that he threatened to kill her.

Azad, who is an Iraqi Kurd, breached the bail terms of his release by failing to appear at a police station to have an electronic tag fitted. He then breached a restraining order by threatening his ex-partner. Tania Doherty, and their son, are now living in fear. They have been given a new identity as Azad remains on the run for more than five months after being bailed.

Miss Doherty, whose new identity cannot be given out, said that she just cannot believe he was released. She said that she is just disgusted. Human rights are a joke as far as she is concerned. She went on to tell how Azad was jailed for attacking her on Eastbourne beach in East Sussex after she ended their relationship.

After he was freed from prison, the UK Border Agency tried to have Azad deported, but the Iraqi authorities refused to accept him. He was then sent back to Colnbrook before being later bailed in March this year against the advice of the UK Border Agency.

In a recent statement, the UK Borer Agency said that they are committed to returning those with no right to be in the UK. They will continue to return those whom both the agency and the court are satisfied do not need UK protection.
